The sequential process flow of PPGI Steel Coil
The process flow of PPGI (pre coated galvanized steel plate) coil usually includes the following steps:
Raw material preparation: Purchase substrate steel coils from suppliers and perform necessary quality inspection and preparation work.
Pickling: The substrate steel coil is pickled to remove surface oxides and other impurities to ensure coating adhesion.
Cleaning and phosphating: Clean and phosphating the acid washed steel plate to form a phosphating film and enhance the adhesion of the coating.
Primer coating: Apply the primer coating evenly on the surface of the steel plate through the coating equipment to enhance corrosion resistance and weather resistance.
Drying and Curing: Put the coated primer coating into an oven for drying and curing treatment to ensure the stability and durability of the primer layer.
Topcoat coating: Apply the topcoat coating onto the primer layer again through the coating equipment, giving the steel plate surface good decorative and anti-corrosion properties.
Drying and Curing: Put the coated topcoat into an oven for drying and curing treatment to ensure the quality and performance of the color coated steel plate.
Cutting and packaging: According to customer requirements, cut and package the color coated steel coil, and prepare to ship it to the customer or downstream processing plant.
