Galvanized steel coil production process

The production process of galvanized steel coils usually includes the following steps

Preparation of raw materials: Select appropriate substrate steel coils as the raw materials for producing galvanized steel coils. The substrate steel coil needs to be pre cut into appropriate dimensions and lengths.

Acid washing treatment: Firstly, the substrate steel coil needs to undergo acid washing treatment to remove surface oxides and oil stains. Acid washing can be carried out using strong acids such as sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid to ensure the cleanliness and roughness of the steel surface.

Hot rolling treatment: After pickling, the steel coil needs to undergo hot rolling treatment, that is, through high temperature and high pressure rolling operations, to make the steel coil flat and uniform.

Cleaning treatment: The hot-rolled steel coil needs to be cleaned by water washing and air blowing to thoroughly remove surface impurities and residues.

Galvanizing treatment: The cleaned steel coil enters the galvanizing process. Usually, hot-dip galvanizing is used, which involves immersing the steel coil into a preheated molten zinc bath, causing its surface to react with zinc and form a layer of zinc. This zinc layer can provide excellent corrosion resistance.

Cold rolling treatment: Galvanized steel coils can be cold-rolled into the required thickness and size through a series of cold rolling machines.

Finished product production: After cold rolling treatment, galvanized steel coils can be cut, rolled, and formed to ultimately produce galvanized steel coil products that meet the requirements.

The production process of galvanized steel coils involves multiple steps and processes, and each step needs to be strictly controlled to ensure that the quality and performance of the final product meet the requirements.
